Novorender is a software company that helps the construction industry better leverage its 3D and associated data. We help companies visualize and analyze very large 3D models, integrate a broad set of data and documents on top of 3D, and provide frictionless access to it all via the browser, mobile and even offline. When better leveraging 3D data, construction projects can reduce 2D drawings causing errors and rework and thereby reduce cost overruns and project timelines.

Novorender has experienced tremendous success in the Norwegian market, and we are now looking to strengthen our sales team with an Account Executive focused on selected European geographies. As Account Executive, you will be accountable for new sales, upsales, and renewals of Midmarket and Enterprise accounts in one or multiple territories – and will collaborate closely with team members from Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to ensure success in your portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Sales strategy and planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for your territories to exceed your sales targets. This includes identifying and quantifying growth opportunities, developing repeatable sales plays, developing/localizing compelling sales content for your territory etc.
  • Lead generation: Identify and engage potential customers through various channels such as cold outreach, inbound leads, networking, and partnerships. Focus on building a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Opportunity management: Effectively manage and track sales opportunities throughout the sales cycle. This includes qualifying prospects, conducting discovery calls, delivering product demos, value presentations, and advancing deals toward closure through consistent follow-up and communication.
  • Negotiations and closing: Lead contract negotiations with prospective clients and successfully close deals by addressing client needs, overcoming objections, and finalizing terms.
  • Account management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, acting as their key point of contact. Ensure ongoing satisfaction, provide product updates, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Customer success and renewals: Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding and a positive client experience. Proactively manage renewals, addressing any concerns and ensuring long-term retention and loyalty.

 

Professional qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in B2B software sales, ideally Enterprise, ideally Construction software
  • Track-record of reaching and overachieving sales quotas and targets
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully drive customers towards quantified and signed off business outcomes
  • Experience with and in-depth knowledge of the Construction industry and BIM
  • Proven ability and eagerness to independently conduct high-level product demos, with minimal reliance on Technical Sales during the early sales cycle
  • Master’s degree in science, technology, engineering, math, economics, business or similar with excellent results

  • High degree of self-direction and ability to perform with minimal oversight and supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills/charisma and experience in connecting with and aligning stakeholders across an organization (including C-level)
  • Distinctive analytical and problem-solving skills – you are structured in solving problems and ground all decisions on solid data
  • Distinctive commercial mindset, financial grounding, and business acumen
  • Strong storyteller with the ability to create compelling narratives and presentations to support sales objectives
  • Fluency in English and additional European language(s)
